ENG: Employee card

The employee card is the most commonly used type of authorization for third-country nationals who wish to work in the Czech Republic on a long-term basis. We will thus take a look at who it is intended for, how long the process takes, what the individual steps are to obtain it, and some practical tips for success. However, obtaining an employee card is not the end – if there are changes in job classification or even employer, the law imposes certain specific obligations that must be fulfilled, we will go through these specifics together as well.
