The percentage of complaints from employees about various types of discrimination, bullying or unequal treatment is steadily increasing. Whether it is discrimination on the grounds of age, maternity, parenthood, gender or sexual orientation, for example, or discrimination against a job applicant in a job interview, allegations of discrimination by an employee are a serious problem for employers and should not be dismissed out of hand. For example, if only because the burden of proof is reversed and proving that you didn’t do something is much more difficult than proving that something did happen.

Discrimination and unequal treatment take many forms and in practice often go hand in hand with terms such as harassment, bossing or mobbing. What exactly is meant by these terms? Could it be that some of the above behaviours are taking place in your workplace without you knowing?

In the training we will present a practical guide to a model situation. Step by step, we will go through all the measures that an employer should take at that moment, how to investigate the matter properly, how to conduct interviews, etc. – all so that the employer can avoid legal action and remedy the situation. We will discuss the most common mistakes employers make and highlight any risks they face.
