This training is led in Czech language.

Are you not familiar with the rights and obligations that arise from being a trade union member of an employer? Are you a trade union and want to be more certain about what you can demand from your employer? Do you want to know how collective bargaining works and when a strike can occur? At what point does the employer have to start fulfilling its legal obligations towards the trade union?
We will answer these questions in a lecture in which we will explain all the mandatory information to be provided to the trade union, the negotiation obligations, consent and co-determination with the trade union, as well as the material facilities that the employer must provide to the trade union for its activities. We will outline the steps that lead to the best possible cooperation between employers and trade unions. We will show how to proceed correctly in collective bargaining and describe what to do if the situation is further complicated by the formation of a second, third, fourth trade union.

We will focus on the most common ambiguities, problems and issues that arise in the “coexistence” of employer and trade union, in a practical way with a number of examples and using case law. We will also answer related questions arising from your practice.
