This training is led in Czech language.
There have been a number of recent changes in the area of working time. Virtually every subsequent amendment to the Labour Code changes something in this area. Sometimes quite substantially – see the working time of “agreement workers” or self-scheduling in “valmech”, sometimes rather marginally – see the reduction of daily rest and working time of children in flexinovel. We will therefore look at the whole area of working time, with a more detailed look at the changes that have recently taken place.
In its first part, our training will guide you through the relevant provisions of the Labour Code, using igrafs, tables and diagrams. This will give you a better idea of what’s behind all those sections.
The second part of the training will then be conducted in the form of a workshop, where you will try to deal with practical situations on your own – for example, you will be given the task of preparing a schedule of uneven working hours, calculating uninterrupted rest breaks, sending an employee on a business trip or ordering overtime.
Throughout the training we will, among other things, draw your attention to the overlap of working time with other areas of employment law. Working time in employment law cannot be separated from other areas and changes made to it often have somewhat unexpected consequences, especially in the areas of pay and leave.
